What counts as a “file”?

Each file you process through a tool — a bank CSV normalization, an invoice extraction, a CSV repair or a file-type detection — counts as one file against your monthly allowance. Re-running the same file counts again. Your allowance resets on the first of each month.

Can I change plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your subscription is managed securely by Stripe: open “Manage subscription” in the dashboard to change or cancel your plan. Plan changes are prorated by Stripe, and your file allowance follows your current plan.

What happens if I go over my monthly limit?

Accepted Answer

Processing is paused for the rest of the month rather than charging you surprise overage fees. You’ll see a clear prompt to upgrade, and your allowance resets on the first of the next month. Data you’ve already processed stays available.

What are the Free plan limits?

The Free plan includes 20 files per month, 1 saved template, full access to the dashboard and a sandbox API key (same endpoints, shared monthly quota) — no credit card required. Deterministic validation, confidence scores and the review workflow are included on every plan, including Free.

Is my financial data safe?

Yes. Processing is deterministic and runs on our servers; files are not sent to any third-party AI service. Every run keeps full provenance and an audit trail. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and retention.

Do you use AI or LLMs to process my files?

Accepted Answer

No. APODEXA uses deterministic parsers and rules — not large language models — so results are reproducible. Every run records provenance (source file, parser and the transformations applied), and each normalized bank row carries a source-row reference. That is what makes the confidence scores and provenance trustworthy for financial data.

How does annual billing work, and can I get a refund?

Annual plans are billed once for the year and cost about two months less than paying monthly (Starter $90/year, Pro $390/year). You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals. As set out in our Terms, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law; if you think your situation qualifies, contact us and we’ll help.

How do I pay, and is checkout secure?

Paid plans are handled entirely through Stripe. APODEXA never sees or stores your card details — Stripe processes the payment securely and returns you to your dashboard.
