Determinism for money
APODEXA is an independent project building the reliability layer for finance data. Our thesis is simple: numbers that end up in someone's books should be produced by rules you can inspect, not by a model that guesses.
What we believe
Large language models are remarkable, but they are the wrong tool for the last mile of financial data. A parser that returns a slightly different answer on a rerun, or quietly invents a value, is a liability where money is concerned.
So APODEXA keeps AI out of the parse path entirely. The whole pipeline is rule-based code: the same file always produces the same output, every run traces back to its source file — down to source-row references on normalized bank rows — and anything genuinely uncertain is flagged for review rather than fabricated.
